For many years I worked as a handyman to produce extra income for my family. Like many, I had a pressing need for extra income. The tipping point was not the income potential, but was when my long time neighbor’s husband took ill and passed away nearly two years later. My wife (Cindy) and I helped her in every way imaginable around her house and provided her with endless moral support.We did our very best to keep this wonderful 82 year old woman going.
Unfortunately, tragedy struck when the medical bills, taxes and mortgage she took out for her husband’s care, left her upside down and unable to keep her house. She asked for our advice about what to do and we told her to stop paying and to stay as long as she could like everybody else during the housing market crash. She decided to give the property back to the bank so they wouldn’t have to foreclose. She moved out and the house sat vacant for almost 3 whole years before the bank finally foreclosed. The bank scrutinized her for almost 5 ½ years and it made life a living hell for this proud lady.
These events motivated me to go out and help people by providing them with home selling solutions before the hammer comes down.
